Association of Medical Doctors of Asia, in short AMDA, is an international organization dedicated to realize a peaceful world community through humanitarian efforts in medical health care sector. Founded in Okayama City, Japan, in 1984, AMDA is a non-governmental, non-profit organization with an international network of 30 chapters and 47 collaborating organizations around the world.
AMDA provides emergency medical aid to people affected by natural as well as man-made disasters. With its special strength in the medical and health sectors, AMDA also implements mid- to long-term social development projects helping people in their community building process. AMDA has worked in more than 50 countries in Asia, Africa, Latin America and Europe in collaboration with governments, UN agencies, such as UNHCR, WHO, WFP, UNOCHA, and other specialized agencies and institutions.

AMSA International invites you to......
The World Medical and Health Games are a gathering for health professionals that allow them to compete in various sports in a fun and friendly atmosphere. Whatever your level or age, come and share with your colleagues your passion for sport!
Created in 1978, the « Medigames » now welcome more than 2,000 health professionals every year in a nice environment. Following editions in St Tropez in France, Garmisch-Partenkirchen in Germany, Alicante in Spain and even Agadir in Morocco, this year this event will take place in Porec, CROATIA, for its 31st edition from July 3rd to July 10th. Further than just a friendly sport event, the Games are a unique opportunity to meet colleagues from each medical specialty and develop your network but also to spend great holidays with your close relatives while discovering a new destination (Croatia is 2 hours from Venice by boat).
The international symposium of medicine will also take place during this event. This symposium is opened to all the participants and you are also welcomed to participate as a speaker to our « free communication » sessions.
