ISCOMS is a congress on (bio)medical sciences that is organised annually in the University Medical Center Groningen, the Netherlands. The organising committee consists of twenty-seven students from the University of Groningen. At the congress, 300 students will present their research either in plenary, oral or poster sessions. During this four day event, more than 700 international (bio)medical students meet eachother during both scientific and social programme activities. An important part of the scientific programme consists of key-note lectures by renowned speakers. Hence, ISCOMS is one of the largest and most important international platforms for medical students involved and interested in (bio)medical sciences.

ISCOMS aims to become the leading forum in worldwide research exchange between students within all fields of (bio)medical sciences. To reach this goal, ISCOMS works persistently to establish an international network for the collaboration of students with each other and with international research institutes. The congress itself serves as the central meeting point. The congress is therefore expanding its educational programmes, post-congress master classes and exchange of research fellowships. This network of top research institutes, universities and students in a dynamic setting will provide the perfect environment for talented students to flourish. Such a network will be advantageous to both partners.

See the Conference Partners page for more information about ISCOMS 2010.
